The Electronics and Surveillance Expert: Dan "Keys" Kessler (Keyboards) - While growing up in Poughkeepsie, NY, Dan "Keys" Kessler was groomed from an early age for a career in NASA exploring deep space. But with the advent of the Space Shuttle, he was forced to put his skill towards more creative purposes. Luckily, he was also encouraged to play keyboards from an early age, and made his way through such bands as The Ashheap, Ghostlight Operator, 3 2 1 Contact!, The Marsupials, and Peach, as well as recording mostly-electronic material for his solo project, Ambivalent Elephant. While it is true that the Rhodes piano is his spirit animal, Kessler's studied and performed on a number of other instruments including Bass, Chapman Stick, Sarod, Trumpet, and Pandeiro. He currently uses most of these instruments, as well as Rhodes and Wurlitzer, in the project Red Army, and when he's not listening to music, he's probably listening to you. Kessler loves particle physics and the Pioneer 10 Spacecraft.
